“Where are you? Dinner was done twenty minutes ago. How can you disobey me? You’re just like your father, always disappointing me. Why are you out at night by yourself walking in the woods anyway? You should be here with me.” she said.
“Mom, I’ve been-” I was cut off as my phone died.
“Dang it!” I screamed. I threw the phone on the bed and stood up. I started to shake the cage violently hoping it would budge, but it didn’t. I started to break down crying. I thought about the time me and my parents went to the beach when I was 6 years old. The sun and water, It was beautiful, blue and purple waves touching my feet as the sun set. I remembered when my dad picked me up and put me on his shoulders while we went crab hunting so the crabs wouldn’t pinch me with their sharp pointy pincher’s. My hair was blonde and in pig tails, as me and momma built a sand castle on the beach. That day we went out to Pineapple Willy’s. Daddy gave my mom this pretty pink ring that was Diamond incrusted.
I was instantly shook out of my memory as the door creaked open, signaling John was on his way down here to me. I got back on the mattress and backed all the way against the wall. He walked down the stairs with what looked like another person. He got the key off the hook and unlocked the gate to my cage throwing the person in here on the mattress beside me. John locked the gate again, hung the keys back on the square looking hook, and walked straight up the squeaking stairs without a word.
“Who are you?” I asked as he sat up.
“I’m Brent Hard, who are you?”
“I’m Erin Dess. Do you know why we are here?”
“Nope, I don’t. How long have you been in here?”He asked.
“About an hour.”
“How did he get you?”
“I was walking in the woods by myself to get alittle thinking time and the next thing I know is i’m in a creppy basement that looks like a 5 year old girls room on a mattress.”
“Why would you go walking in the woods at night by yourself anyway?”
“Because i’m stupid,”I said laughing. “Nah, I’m just kiddin’ with you. I needed time to think about some of my problems. My parent’s just recently broke up.”
“Oh, I’m sorry. Do you want to talk about it”
“Thanks, but I’d rather not.”
“Is there anyway out of here?” He asked as he studied the cage.
“Not that I found,” I said with a sigh. “How did you get down here?”
“I was leaving work, and I was out back waiting for my ride when he came from behind and tied my hands and feet so I couldn’t escape, then put me in his back seat and drove here. he untied me at the door up there, then put me over his shoulder and threw me in here.”
“Oh, That sounds painful, It was.”
“Oh yeah, did I mention there’s a massive cut on my side from where I ran from him and tripped on a huge rock. There was glass on the ground where I fell and it sliced my skin open.”
“Is it bad?” He asked looking alittle scared like when a kid thinks there’s a monster under the bed.
“No, Not like I might bleed to death or anything.” I said and he relaxed.
“Okay, good.”
I sat there for a minute trying to figure out why John would take Brent and me. Then it hit me. He had a daughter. He abused her and he was drunk all the time, so the daughter moved to her mom’s yet doesn’t talk to him anymore. realizeded I take her place and Brent is my play mate. It all made sense to me now.
I quickly whiched my thoughts because I heard Brent scream.
“What? What’s wrong?” I asked.
“I cut myself on the cage door.”
“Oh my gosh. You scream like a little girl.” I said between laughs.
“No, I don’t. Leave me alone.” Brent said playfully. I thought again.
“Brent where do you work?”
“At the lumber company.”
“Good, so you could have a sharp obect or something in your pockets?” I asked curiously.
“Uh,” He said as the searched his pockets are found his cell phone.
That’sts good I guess. Call the police.” dialedled 911.
“Yes, Sir. My name is Brent Hard, and I’m trapped in a basement with Erin Dess, I don’t know excually where we are but please contact my parents and her parents.”
“Brent can you describe the house your in?” The policeman asked.
“All I know is that the house is blue and yellow.” He answered. The door to the basement creaked open as the kidnapper came running down the stairs. He unlocked the cage and took Brent and the cellphone out of the cage.
“What are you doing?!” He hung up the phone. The threw Breagainstist the wall,
“Brent!” I screamed as ran over to him.
“Get back in the cage!” John yelled.
“No.” I said t

The KKK and neo-nazi groups are of course no good, but after the fall of Hitler’s Nazi regime there aren’t any major super-power nations in the world that would be ready to seriously back either of those groups. The Communists were a different story. The US was worried that communist party members could act as agents to the KGB or the GRU to undermine the United States Government from within. Although it was a valid and substantiated concern, civil liberties were violated at times in counter-intelligence operations.

i moved to texas from oregon when i was 19 to go to college. in one of my classes a professor talked of political persons who have ran for texas political offices. i can remember one, brought a repoter to his ranch for a “honey hunt.”! he would get women from mexico, drop them off on different parts of his ranch and that night him and a bunch of other men would “hunt” them down! he also said “rape is like bad weather, you have to take it as it comes.” i love texas, but man, sometimes i don’t get ‘em. how in the world do we have a president in office that stems from this?

The guy you are speaking of is Clayton Williams he ran for Governor against Ann Richards and lost. If he would have won then George Bush would not have been governor when he beat Ann Richards in 98 and there for would not have run for president in 2000.
BTW, I loved the great Ann Richards and wish she wold have won again, but in 98 George W. Bush won the governorship on the platform of legalizing it for Texans to carry concealed handguns. This was the same time that Florida was having problems with the carjackings from people running into cars with their cars, so it was a hot topic issue at the time.

Awhile ago my friend and I would talk amongst our break before work began and on breaks about “Hunting.” Now, mind that I live in California; thus the sneering and snickering would happen to co-workers who didn’t like hunting. It even got to the point where 3 women protested and stated that they were offended of overhearing conversation about hunting, even though they weren’t in the conversation circle. I tried to educate that hunting is necessary for the environment as over population could mean no “Bambi’s” at all… How do you handle this and what would you suggest? Now, hunting talk is not permitted on the job…

On Luna’s papers it says that she foxhunted with “Cassanova” for a few years. I live 5-10 minutes (depending on the time of day) from Middleburg, Virginia. They’re really big into foxhunting and have “hunts” (I guess that’s what they’re called?) all time that are open to people in the area.
I just don’t know much about it. Like what do you do? What are the usual requirements for the horse AND rider? Any other information?

PS. Don’t say it’s cruel. I know that this group I’d be going with (if I go, I want to decided if it’s even something I’d be interested in), does NOT kill the fox. They used to breed the foxes just for this.

During 2008 out of 2,216 PETA took in, they only found adoptive homes for just seven pets. “PETA has a thirty two million annual budget but instead of investing in the lives of the thousands of flesh and blood creatures in its care, the group spends millions on media campaigns telling Americans that eating meat, drinking milk, fishing, hunting, wearing leather shoes, and benefiting from medical research performed on lab rats are all unethical” (Berman 5)
I have a secret about the food bank _________!?
my sister called me about this couple at their church.
who are saving for a huge down payment for a house.
they are going from food bank to food bank,
the local city one and into every church food bank.
they are canning vegies and meat and living off it so they dont have to use their food money and banking it for this down payment. they have been doing this for over a year.
My sister donates to this food bank every week.
she and her children babysit for neighbors to earn money to buy canned meat for the hungry and her husband and the boys hunt. Then she finds this out accidently from a VERY reliable source.
Is this just one of those times when you roll your eyes and look the other way or is it stealing from the hungry and homeless ?

My sister is not a trouble maker. far from it.

I have had someone question my christianity. some one who told me to report it. someone to tell me what goes around comes around.and someone to tell me not to gossip. someone told me there are scams every where and someone notified me you have to have reciepts to go to a food bank.
We live in Montana.
no reciepts or bills or how much you make.
They just ask what your name is and what went wrong.Then they give you some resources.

have you straight up and looked at how much violence is floating around? everything on TV is killing and about 90% of the movie world is killing and video games are amazingly gory.
why is our culture so damn violent? every channel i go through has some kind of murder in it. the other day i was watching a movie i thought was normall and then about half way in a guy driving a car was shot by another guy in the woods via sniper rifle…
Tips and suggestions about July wedding?
Planning wedding which will be in July of 2010. The theme is a bit of wildlife/nature/hunting, etc. I know not to do the hunting part too much or to over due the theme. I have asked this here before and gotten a couple of good ideas, and have also done searches myself and found very little, so I have decided to ask again and see if anyone has more decor, favor, colors, etc. ideas that they would like to share.

Oh geeze… I am not asking for your opinion of whether it sounds like a good idea, if I should do it or not, or your opinion on hunting. I am asking for tip and suggestions on decor and more; if you have nothing to offer with what brain you are hopefully supplied with, then please move on to waste someone elses time.
