I grew up in Cocoa Beach and later Titusville (Fl.) and when I was in HS me and my buds (not sure who thought of it, I know it wasn’t me) used to pile in a car and head out to the deserted beach road in Titusville (Merritt Island National Seashore) at night and when we’d see an armadillo in the road who was briefly stunned by our headlights we’d slam on the brakes and all pile out with baseball bats and give chase…the idea was to get a hit…which was rare but the swiftest of us did occasionally get a hit…all I remember was when you would hit one they would jump about 3 feet off the ground and when they landed they would be gone in a flash into the brush….needless to say this practice was typically done in conjunction with either beer or other mind altering substances…lol
It was just typical teen boy antics…I turned out fine…a former U.S. Marine and now degreed Engineer
Anyone who wasn’t in the Corps, keep your comments about them to yourselves…you have no idea what you are talking about.

When the engine is idling, the revs are a little low so more fuel is supplied and the revs increase, but they are then higher than they should be so fuel is reduced and the revs fall so that they are even lower than at the starting point.
This cycle takes about one second and then repeats itself, each new cycle revving higher than the last and dropping to a lower point until the car stalls.
( I assume it is variation in the fuel supply but I could be wrong. I am not a mechanic! )
The car did not have this problem before the conversion and does not have it when running on petrol.
The people who did the conversion seem unable to correct it.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

If they simply only installed a converter, filter and mixer, running a mechanical throttle linkage. It shouldn’t do that. If they installed a computer, governor, or any kind of emissions control kit. Any of that stuff can cause that If its not adjusted or setup up right. Some engines and finicky on LP. Change your plugs first and set the gap tighter, not exactly sure on the gap but it is different. Just google it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to gaining basic hunting skills?
I am 24 years old but because I was raised by a vegetarian father I never learned these basic skills. I was a vegetarian myself for a time but am beginning to think that my objections to eating meat have to do with factory farming and the meat industry and not the healthy and sustainable practices of hunting responsibly. I guess I want to take the industry out of the equation but keep the meat. Can anyone just point me in a general direction? Websites, classes etc. I live in Michigan

I believe that foxhunts should be regulated and turned to drag hunts. Does anyone else share this belief?
This question is partially a response to the details given by Leanne J in her question about the “cruelty” of foxhunting. I will let her know that I do not appreciate being called stupid and sworn at because of my beliefs. Hunting is not cruel, provided that it is of the drag type, which does not involve killing of any type, either fox, horse, or human. I think that having drag hunts is the best way to continue many of the sport’s traditions, without having to ban it altogether, the way the UK has done. Drag hunting is a good sport, and compared with some of the others I’ve seen, is a lot less cruel to both people and animals. Does anyone else feel this way?
Can anyone help me figure out where something is in the game Borderlands?
