Question by : Help???? Thanks!!? Easy BA!?
Give me ideas to add to this story
A simple werewolf and his soul keeper stalk the night, hunting.
“Come on!” the keeper sighed.
“No blood sucking tonight. None.”
She rubbed her temples and fought back the urge to rip apart the next human that passed her.
The werewolf laughed under his breath about his keepers lack of control. For as long as his furry body has lived on this earth, he could tell an impatient, vampire when he saw one.
“What you laughin’ at, huh?” she shouted.
His only reply was more laughter.
“Shut up!” she squealed.
Even more laughter.
“S… Stop…” then the tears started.
“Sorry.” his gruff apology was enough to make her happy. She hugged him and skipped to a dark alley.
“Sienna?” He asked.
“I got you a present…” She whispered.
His mind came up with a million and one things his keeper could have. But all were wrong.
“Here!” she held a flower in her sharp teeth.
“Thanks…?” He reached for the flower but was stopped by Sienna’s sudden shock.
“That’s not the present!” she pointed to her feet.
“I told you not to kill anyone!” he shouted, his fur increasing and his eyes glowing.
“Oh you won’t hurt me, silly. And you said no blood sucking. Not killing.”
A smile broke across Sienna’s face. A smile that  Seigfried despised at the moment. He hated everything about sienna sometimes. He hated the goofy way she followed every rule she could, but broke every one he came up with. He hated the way she took an hour to do her hair. He hated it because she was so lucky. So lucky to not be cursed as he was.
“Leave the body, let’s get home.”
“No! I don’t wanna leave!”
“Too bad.” he grasped her by the foot and dragged her home. Surprisingly, no one noticed.

CHAPTER TWO
They’re old blue house was a play ground for sienna. She jumped on the old fireman pole and climbed up the walls. It kept her entertained while Siegfried did his work.

Siegfried was an artist. He painted pictures of bugs on coffee mugs and even the occasional horse in theoce
**horse in the ocean.

People loved his paintings and spent god-knows-how-much money on them. Sienna often stared in his people paintings. He drew her on the roof one day, and hung it up in her bedroom. In a pink frame.

Sienna stared at that picture a lot. It was back when she was a fresh immortal. Back when she kept siegfried’s soul in her pocket. Now, it sits in a jar on her nightstand. She pets it sometimes. Shakily touching the sparkly yellow ball of light that siegfried missed so much. It’s name was frank. Frank the soul.

“Sienna!” Siegfried shouted.
“What?” she yelled back.
“Come here!”
“No!”
“Come on! Don’t be so bitchy!”
“Don’t call me a bitch!”
“Ugh.”
“Hey, siegfried?”
“Yeah!”
“…come here!”

CHAPTER 3

Tonight was Sienna’s date night. She found Siegfried’s best suit and stuffed his fur in.

“Let’s go!” she squealed.

Though this wasn’t a real date and she could never love anyone, this made her happy. It’s a way to pass the time and play pretend with her soul bud

You didn’t actually have any type of setting or scene, and your chapters would be less than a page long in a standard novel. There is so much missing, I don’t even know what you were trying to say here. It’s all jumbled and confusing, with poor grammar and spelling. The dialogue is hard to understand. You don’t specify who is speaking even after like 8 lines of dialogue. I have no idea what was even going on here…

English persons/UK residents, help a septic out?

Question by sslpatt: English persons/UK residents, help a septic out?
I am having trouble with some cockney rhyming slang. The term giving me trouble is “berk” that is the shorting of “bershire hunt” . I was reading a novel with a woman character who called everyone who even mildly annoyed her a berk. Now in america, very few women call anybody a c*** and only when very angry. Is “berk” so divorced from the orignal curse word that you can sling it around like that? Advise please.
No I’m an American. A Yank. or in cockney rhyming slang a septic tank. See it used to be a two word phrase like bread and honey for money, and then was shortened to bread. So it doesn’t rhyme anymore which makes it confusing. I guess it isn’t used all that much anymore.

Just in case you think I’m makeing this all up.

Telescope help??? Meade-80 and Dob10?

December 15, 2010 by · 2 Comments

I went out to my dads trailer in the woods over the weekend and used my Meade ETX-80 telescope with both my 4mm and my 26mm eyepiece to view the nearly perfect night sky.

The 26mm to locate interesting things and the 4mm to get a closer look.

I saw two interesting things worth mentioning.

Time- 8:30pm-12:30am Saturday January 9th 2010 Harrison county Ohio.

1.- just rising over the trees was something bright and flickering to the naked eye and through my Meade-80 and 4mm eyepece the object appeared to be changing all kinds of colors. [this was earlier in my night watch]

2.North [looking mostly upwards in the sky] I saw through my Meade-80 and 4mm eyepiece a very bright object that appeared purple/violet. The strange thing about this was I looked back over to just above the trees where I saw the first object and it was no longer there and the only thing as bright as the first object that could have been reasonaly enough like it as far as it moving was the second object….was it being closer to the horizon [just above the trees] the reasons for it to look like a bunch of different colors flashing? [a distortion possibly?] then as it rose higher into the sky the purple waseasier viewed?

I havent been able to take my 10 inch dobsonian out to the woods yet because of how big it is and it is hunting season right now, meaning that my dads car is packed with hunting accesories [guns etc.] so I will have to use the Dob10 in my backyard until spring/summer time when we just go out to the trailer/woods to relax and “camp” and there will be more room to take the Dob10.

I did however use my dob10 in my backyard yesterday and have two things worth mentioning that I saw.

It was a pretty clear night, some light pollution, and a few clouds and its in my sub-urb backyard.

9:30-10:30pm Sunday January 10th 2010 Columbus Ohio [Franklin county]

Through my 9.7mm eyepiece.

3. Bright orange/red disc like object looking upwards in the sky.

4.A VERY bright /white looking object in the sky that looked even from the naked eye to be an interesting view.

I have talked to my astronomy teacher about all of these 4 different interesting views and here are some guesses we both came up with.

1.- A galaxy, Nebula, or double star distorted by the atmosphere.

2.Orion, a nebula.

3. Mars, betelguese.

4.A galaxy, a nebula, Andromeda

All help on finding out what these could have been is greatly appreciated.

Also, on a side note I am purchasing a webcam tommorow, I will be using it for recording personal videogame maps that I have built, maybe to chat with friend through and I want to use it on my sopes [sort of a multi-purpose cause]

I was wondering what would be a good webcam to buy for the pricerange of 50-$100?

I am going to be buying it at the store. Also, do I have to hook it up to a laptop or computer while I am recording necissarily? Or can I record it on spot and then look at it later on a computer or laptop? [I realize bringing out a laptop would be easier because looking at the object on screen would make things much easier and I will have access to a laptop sometimes while I do this but other times I may just have to record and look at later on my computer.]

Thanks for the help.

If I was to choose a Mathews, Hoyt, PSE, or Bowtech compound bow which bow in each brand would be a good choice?? I have a draw length of 27″ and would like to have a draw weight of 70 pounds. I will primarily be hunting white-tail and the occasional elk hunt out west. I would like to be able to shoot around 300 fps to keep a flatter shot. Set aside money and all, I just want to know what bow is the best out there for each of these elite brands, in your opinion. Thank You for your comments.
