“Hello, Raymond Michaels, computer assistant, may I help you?”
“Yes, well, I’m having trouble with WordPerfect.”
“What sort of trouble?”
“Well, I was just typing along, and all of a sudden the words went away.”
“Went away?”
“They disappeared.”
“Hmm. So what does your screen look like now?”
“Nothing.”
“Nothing?”
“It’s blank. It won’t accept anything when I type.”
“Are you still in WordPerfect or did you get out?”
“How do I tell?”
[Uh-oh. Well, let's give it a try anyway.]
“Can you see the C-prompt on the screen?”
“What’s a sea prompt?”
[Uh-huh. I thought so. Let's try a different tactic.]
“Never mind. Can you move the cursor around on the screen?”
“There isn’t any cursor: I told you, it won’t accept anything I type.”
[Ah, at least he knows what a cursor is. Sounds like a hardware problem. I wonder if he kicked out his monitor's power plug.]
“Does your monitor have a power indicator?”
“What’s a monitor?”
“It’s the thing with the screen on it that looks like a TV. Does it have a little light that tells you when it’s on?”
“I don’t know.”
“Well, then look at the back of the monitor and find where the power cord goes into it. Can you see that?”
[Sound of rustling and jostling.]
“Yes, I think so.”
“Great! Follow the cord to the plug and tell me if it’s plugged into the wall.”
[Pause.]
“Yes, it is.”
[Hmm. Well, that's interesting. I doubt he would have accidentally turned it off, and I don't want to send him hunting for the switch because I don't know what kind of monitor he has and it's bound to have more than one switch on it. Maybe the video cable is loose or something.]
“When you were behind the monitor, did you notice that there were two cables plugged into the back of it, not just one?”
“No.”
“Well, there are. I need you to look back there again and find the other cable.”
“Okay, here it is.”
“Follow it for me and tell me if it’s plugged securely into the back of your computer.”
“I can’t reach it.”
“Uh-huh. Well, can you see if it is?”
“No.”
“Even if you maybe put your knee on something and lean way over?”
“Oh, it’s not because I don’t have the right angle– it’s because it’s dark.”
“Dark?”
“Yes. The office light is off and the only light I have is coming from the window.”
“Well, turn on the office light then.”
“I can’t.”
“No? Why not?”
“Because there’s a power outage.”
“A Power–”
[AAAAAAAArgh!]
“A power outage? Aha! Okay, we’ve got it licked now. Do you still have the boxes and manuals and packing stuff your computer came in?”
“Well, yes, I kept them in the closet.”
“Good! Go get them, unplug your system, and pack it up just like it was when you got it. Then take it back to the store you bought it from.”
“Really? Is it that bad?”
“Yes, I’m afraid it is.”
“Well, all right then, I suppose. What should I tell them?”
“Tell them you’re too stupid to own a computer.”

for soldier front is the awp worth it for its price?
my friend thinks that the awp isn’t worth it and he says the psg1 can out snipe it i say that the awp is the best sniper in game and it probably can out snipe the psg1 all i want to know is if it can and if it’s worth it because i want to get one myself
Is the D Boy Kar 98 Airsoft Gun worth buying?
I wanted to buy a sniper and i came across the kar98, i like the realism of the gun but would it be useful as a sniper in an airsoft game, it only has about 300 fps

My friend is selling a mosin nagent and he offered to sell me the rifle, 34 rounds of ammo, the cleaning kit, and few other things for $100. I believe its the m44 or the smaller version but some of these look huge and this wasnt quite so big. The only problem is the stock has been stained over and doesnt look quite right plus im not sure how much the guns been used or how the barrel really looks (didnt get a good look). But i mainly wanted this rifle to play around with, possibily deer hunt with it in the future as a starter rifle and if i get into it more buy a nicer rifle. But considering that ive never owned anything besides 2 .22 rifles i wanted something bigger and this looks like the cheapest thing i can find for the $200 i have. I just wants to know if this sounds like a good deal? and if i want to add a scope, bipod, and new stock later how much would that cost? I really just want to get into collecting guns that why im so immpatient.
Also are is ammo easy to find for this rifle and how much does it cost?
Is Sniper: Ghost Warrior for Xbox 360 worth it?
I am looking for a new game to buy, and i came across Sniper: Ghost Warrior for the Xbox. It looks fun, might i am not so sure about it. It came out yesterday in the USA, so my question is does anyone have this game and can tell me if it is worth it? The graphics, gameplay, everything. Is this a good idea prove my worth?
Right now I’m a senior in high school going to college. In about 10-15 years I plan on having a career and good money. I also want do something crazy. SLAP A LION. No weapons, no armor, just me, my pumas, and my will to prove a point. I plan on going to Africa and finding a old (if dying, perfect!) lion and slapping it TWICE if I can. Any suggestions on how I could do this without getting killed or injuryed?
My plan is to get into perfect shape (already in ok shape. 5’5 167 pounds. 14% body fat. wrestled for 2yrs and played football for 2yrs) during my 10-15 yr wait. I also plan to become almost a Lion research Master to know lion’s habits. Then life with African tribes for about a year to know how to hunt.
I AM DEAD SERIOUS. I plan to post this on youtube, if they still have it in like 15yrs.
What else could I do to get ready?

I want to be a pilot, is it worth it?
I’m 15 and for the past year i have been thinking really hard on what i want to do for the rest of my life after high school. right now, i just want to keep getting good grades and have a lot of fun, im also signing up for FAA classes at BOCES in 12th grade to learn how the engines work on airplanes and to learn the physics of flying, etc. anyways, i really want to do this but i have three issues with the idea.
1. Is it worth missing out on holidays and family/friend time for flying (even though it’s BEAUTIFUL)
2. I don’t know if it’s a job that is decent to get into, and by that i mean lay-off and job hunting wise
3. I really don’t want to join the air force or anything in the military just to fly, yes it looks amazing and cool, but it’s a huge risk and im not someone who is ok with wars and stuff like that, but then again, it would look good on a resume and i could get amazing experience and knowledge from it. (how hard is it to become an airline pilot if you’re not in the USAF?)

How much is a High Country bow worth?
I am new to archery and am looking for my first hunting bow. I don’t want to spend a large amount of $$$ until I see ho w I take to it. In some local classifieds, there is a High Country Supreme compound bow with a case, arrows, quiver, scope, and more. It just says “make offer”, what would be a fair offer to make? Also, is the draw length adjustable on these bows? Thanks.
