What are cool places for a 11-yr old boys birthday near Stamford, CT?

My son wants to invite a dozen boys in mid November to his birthday. What fun experiences or places would impress this ‘increasingly cool’ and active bunch of 11 year olds?

I’ve though of paint ball, go karts, treasure hunts, fishing, virtual reality, murder mysteries, make your own music video, haunted houses, magic learning, model airplane flying, as examples and am looking for sites like this.

We live in Stamford, CT and are willing to drive 30-45 minutes in any direction. We are familiar with New Roc City. Unfortunately, Paintball Madness and Go Vertical rock climbing in Stamford closed :-(

    2. Try the links, my son has been to a couple of parties at the sports centre, and he loved it.

    Problem with lag tag is the one in New Haven you have to be a certain height to go, so that may affect who your son can invite to his party.

    Also there is a rock climbing my son went to a party (3rd link) and it was very good there.
